The dry transformer is mainly composed of an iron core that silicon steel sheet and epoxy resin cast coil. In these two groups of epoxy resin cast coil winding, the higher voltage is the high voltage winding, the lower voltage is the low voltage winding. An insulating tube is placed between the high and low voltage coils to increase electrical insulation. The high and low voltage coils are supported and fixed on the steel castings by soft cushions.
